The following article explains how to track Margot Violations in CoDa using the "Violations" tracker. Enter a new tracker for each individual violation.
Step 1: Navigate to the "Violations" related list link on the Case Record and click NEW.
Step 2: A new window will pop up. Select the "Margot Violation" record type.
Step 3: Fill out the new violation tracker and hit SAVE when done. The following fields are required:
- Status: "Pending" is typically the default status when a new violation has been issued and has not yet been resolved.
- Rule Type: Check with your program protocols for details on which Rule Type applies.
- Violation Date/Time: The date and time the violation occurred.
- Effective Date: The date the violation was issued.
Step 4: Update the violation once it has been resolved. Navigate to the "Violations" related list and click on the link for the violation you wish to edit. Click on any of the pencil icons to enter "edit mode." Make sure to click SAVE when done. The following fields are required:
- Status: Update the status from "Pending" to one of the following
- Remediated
- Stipulated Agreement
- Eviction
- In Legal
- Resolution Date: The date the final resolution was reached.
- Resolution Notes/Next Steps: Provide a brief description of the resolution and any next steps.
