To add a new household member into an existing household, please follow these general steps.
Our example uses Joey Ramone Test's household.
Start from the Household page where the household member should be added into.
1 On the initial screen:
- Check the "Start adding new household member" checkbox
- and then click "Next".
2 On the next screen: fill out Basic Client information
- First Name (required)
- Last Name (required)
- Client Birthdate (required)
- Preferred Name (optional)
- Next
3 On the next screen: fill out Household Status Info
- Family Role (required)
- Relationship to Head of Household (required)
- Primary Language (required)
- Interpretation Needed? (optional)
4 On the next screen: fill out Demographic Information
- Race/Ethnicity (multiple select is possible)
- Pronoun(s) (multiple select is possible)
- Gender Identity (multiple select is possible)
- Sexual Orientation (multiple select is possible)
Note: if and only if you selected "Prefer to Self-Describe" (in this case, Race/Ethnicity), the "Self-Describe" text box corresponding to the Race/Ethnicity will show up.
5 On the next screen: Result screen
- If the household member was successfully added into this household, it will show the success page. Otherwise, it will show the error page. When you see the error page, please email your Salesforce Admin for help.
- Click "End Automation" will take you back to the initial screen where you can add another household member.
