The structure of a case record page looks like the image below. Each big area (rectangle) within the page is called a Block.
Let's use the case record for the client named "Joey Ramone TEST" as our example.
1. Highlights Block
- From the Highlights Block, we can see the Name of the case record: Joey Ramone TEST 8/2022 Case Record. There are some buttons that allow us to do something for the client, such as CCAP Client Services allows us to create Service Entries and Progress Notes (case notes) of the engagement with the client.
2. Related List Block
- The Related List shows you if this client has any association with other Objects. It's called "Related List" because it tells you "Lists of records related to the client". For example, in the image above we can observe that Joey Ramone TEST 8/2022 Case Record has "10+" case record history. He has exactly "10+" Service Entries, "10+" Progress Notes, etc.
3. Key Information Block
- The Key Information Block contains client details such as DOB, Language, Family role, etc., communication details such as phone number, email, etc., case details such as Primary program, program's status, etc., and Key Dates such as case open date, exit date, etc.
4. Details Block
- The Details Block contains all the data points (attributes) of this client case record. For example case status, program status, open date, owner name, date of most recent staff engagement, intake date, etc. The details block information consists of a few common data points and some program specific data points.
5. Add Service Note for any Household Member Block
- The Service Note Block allows users to add case notes(engagements with the clients) to the case record for the client or for any household member.
6. My Client's Most Recent Housing Tracker Block
- My Client's Most Recent Housing Tracker Block shows the latest living situation information of the client.
7. New Task Block
- The New Task Block allows users to create a task for themselves.
8. Mogli Block
- The Mogli Block allows users to send and receive text messages to and from clients directly from Salesforce without using your cell phone.
Core Fields on the case record page
- Client: First and Last Name of the client This is a hyperlink. If clicked, Salesforce will open the Client/Contact Page
- Case Name: Name of the case record
- Client Household: Name of the client's Household. This is a hyperlink. If clicked, Salesforce will open the Household Page
- Open Date: Date the case record was opened/created
- Case Status: Status of the case - open closed, etc.,
- Program Status: Status of the program - referred, intake, enrolled, exited, etc.,
- Exit Date: Date the client exited the program
- Exit Reason: The reason the client exited the program
