The structure of a client page looks like the image below. Each big area (rectangle) within the page is called a Block.
Let's use the client named "Joey Ramone TEST" as our example.
-
Menu Block
- From the Menu Block, we can see that the menu contains "Home", "Create New Client & Household", "Clients & Contacts", "Case Records", "Programs" and "More". Each item with the Menu Block is called a Tab. Clicking on the tab takes you to a different page related to that Tab. The order of the items in the Menu Block is not fixed. You can drag and move them to change their order. But the "Home" tab will always be in the first position.
-
Highlights Block
- From the Highlights Block, we can see the Name of the client: Joey Ramone TEST.
- There are buttons that allow us to do something for the client
- "Create Referral/Case" allows you to make a referral for your client (in this case, Joey Ramone TEST) to another internal program.
- There are 4 frequently looked up fields: "Age", "Primary Language", "Date Assigned Therapist", and "Therapist Assigned".
-
Related List Block
- The Related List shows you the "Lists of records related to the client". This is where you go to see information about a client that is cross program. For example, the Housing Tracker related list will display housing information from every program.
- You will use the Files related list on the Client Record to upload files that may be relevant to multiple programs such as IDs, Social Security cards, etc.
-
Details Block
- The Details Block contains all the data points (attributes) of this client. For example, data about Joey Ramone TEST's Age, Primary Language, Email, Phone, Address, Gender, Ethnicity, etc.
-
Sidebar Block
- The Sidebar Block allows Admins to add additional features/functionalities to the page to improve user productivity. This includes the "Mogli" (allows you send text messages to client directly from Salesforce, without using your cell phone). Sidebar Blocks in different Object page can contain different functionalities.
