Mogli is the name of the app that we use to text clients in Salesforce. You can text from your desktop, laptop or phone. The number that we use to text clients with is now also your Direct Line that client can use to text and call you. Calls to this number will ring into your 3CX app on your phone or your computer.
Mogli Conversation View

1 Settings: allows users to filter the conversation by user and customize text and bubble colors. 2 Conversation View Body: displays the last 300 Incoming and outgoing SMS and MMS(Lightning Only). 3 Message to Send field: Manually type a message, then press Enter or the Pink Arrow to send your message. Also displays your character count. Keep your character count < 160. 4 Your Direct Number / Mogli Gateway: Compass has configured this field to show only your direct number. This is the number clients can call or text you. 5 Scheduler: If not sending immediately, choose the Date and Time the message to be delivered. 6 MMS (Multi-media Message Service) file selector: allows you to attach files such as jpeg, gif, png, pdf, etc.(Lightning Only) to your outbound message. 7 SMS Template: allows you to select a predefined message template or trigger an outbound survey or automated conversation. Template is very helpful when sending bulk messages. |
Mobile:
Standard Salesforce field where we put client's Mobile phone number. If Mobile field is blank, Mogli Conversation View Component will be disabled and no messages can be sent.
Mogli Number
The Mogli number is a uniquely formatted mobile number populated by a workflow that runs off the mobile field. Once your Mogli number field appears like this, you'll be ready to send and receive texts with their recipient. The Mogli number acts as a unique identifier for every record. Every time an incoming message arrives, Mogli associates the message with an existing record that matches the sender's Mogli number. You can think of this as your client's phone number.
Gateway
Your gateway is your direct line over which messages are sent and received. You can think of this as your work phone number from Salesforce.
Mogli Opt out
By default, this field is not checked. If checked, Conversation View component will be disabled.
